Anyone can roll on a coating. What makes it last is everything that happens before application.
Diamond-Grind the Slab
Mechanical diamond grinding to a real CSP profile, never acid etching. It opens the concrete so the coating bonds into it, not just onto it.
Repair Cracks & Spalls
We fix the substrate in-house: cracks, spalls, pitting, failed joints. Every other contractor's quote assumes a sound slab. Ours makes it one.
Test for Moisture
We measure moisture in the slab before we coat it. Trapped moisture is the #1 cause of delamination in Western PA basements and below-grade floors, and it's invisible until the coating lifts.
Treat the Joints
Control and expansion joints are honored and detailed so the floor moves with the slab instead of cracking over it.

How Cheap Floors Fail & What Prevents It
Coating failures aren't random. They happen when critical steps are rushed, skipped, or done incorrectly.
The coating lifts off in sheets. Prevented by diamond grinding to profile instead of acid etching.
Warm tires pull the coating off the floor. Prevented by a proper bond and a polyaspartic topcoat, not a box-store kit.
Bubbles push up from below. Prevented by testing the slab for moisture before coating, the step almost no one does.
The finish ambers and dulls. Prevented by UV-stable topcoats rated for the exposure.

Epoxy Floor Coating FAQ
You're a masonry company, so why would you do my floor?
Because floor coatings fail because of the concrete underneath them, and concrete is what we've done for 45 years. Prep, moisture and substrate repair decide whether a floor lasts, and those are our trade, not a sideline.
Will it peel or bubble like the ones I've seen?
Those failures come from skipped prep and untested moisture. We diamond-grind to a real profile, repair the slab, and test it for moisture before we coat, the exact steps that prevent peeling and blistering.
My basement floor is damp or takes on water. Can you still coat it?
Often yes, and this is where we're different. Waterproofing is one of our core services, so we can address the moisture source rather than coating over it and hoping. We'll tell you honestly what your slab needs.
Will road salt and freeze-thaw destroy it over the winter?
Not when it's bonded correctly and topped with a UV- and chemical-stable polyaspartic. We build for Western PA winters, including salt, slush and freeze-thaw cycling, because that's the environment every one of our floors lives in.
How long is my garage or facility out of service?
We give you a real timeline based on the system and the slab, and we hold to it. For facilities, we work around your schedule: nights, weekends and shutdowns. We'd rather cure it right than rush a same-day promise that fails in year two.
Where do I put everything while you work?
We'll plan the staging with you when we come out to quote the job, so you know exactly what needs to move and when.
Is it slippery when wet?
Standard finishes have some grip from the flake; for wet areas, ramps and kitchens we add an anti-slip aggregate. It's standard on commercial jobs and available on any residential floor.
